Applebee's Low Calorie Dinners

Applebee's offers an "Under 550 Calories" section of their menu, as well as a Weight Watchers menu. All of the meals in these two categories range from $9.99 to $12.99.

 Here are a few of the meals available in both sections-

Weight Watchers Creamy Parmesan Chicken served with steamed spinach and a mushroom rice pilaf- 470 calories and 55 grams of protien

Weight Watchers Jalapeno Lime Shrimp served with grilled zucchini, onions, tomatoes and red peppers with black bean and corn salsa and steamed rice. - 300 calories and 22 grams of protein.

Roasted Garlic Sirloin - A 7 oz grilled sirloin with sauteed onions, herbed potatoes and a grilled portobello mushroom cap stuffed with cream spinach - 470 calories and 42 grams of protein.


Not listed as a low cal meal, the new Blackened Tilapia is grilled with cajun spices and a garlic thyme sauce and served with fried potatoes and seasonal vegetables. 410 calories and 34 grams of protein and only $9.99.

Their newest 2 for $20 entree, the Chipotle Cream 4oz Steak and Shrimp plate isn't horrendous on the calorie count, though it for sure doesn't count as a low cal meal with 690 calories and 41 grams of protein, but it sure looks good. I'm considering saving up a day's worth of calories so I can blow it on one delicious meal.

On the lighter side of things, the Seasonal Berry and Spinach Salad breaks Applebee's tradition of 1,000 calorie salads with it's lovely little 620 calorie count that includes dressing, so have at it!

Applebee's Lunch Pick 'n Pair Menu can be low calorie if you're careful. Here are some options with low calories so that if you pair them you stay below 600 for your meal.

Be wary of salad dressings! Ask if they have light dressings available and ask for your dressing on the side. Only using half of your dressing can save you as many as 150 extra calories!
