T.G.I. Friday's - Thank Goodness It's Friday's -

I have to admit that I had to draw a pretty sharp breath when I started grazing over the TGI Friday's Menu. The single serving appetizers average out at over 700 calories per serving. That's really not good.

Then I passed over 5 entrees that were over 890 calories before I found one under 800. Wowzer.

But they do have a selection of low calorie plates that are marked on their menu. Those are included here, along with low cal entrees that can be paired with low calorie sides, and the plates that land between 750-800 calories that aren't marked on their menu!

So, here's a run down for you. Choose wisely!

Seafood at TGI Fridays 

Grilled Salmon with Langostino Lobster - No Sides - 520 calories
Dragonfire Salmon served with mango pico de gallo, ginger lime slaw and broccoli- 590 calories

Low Calories Soups, Salads and Dressings at TGIF's 

Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad (add choice of dressing)  - 590 calories
Strawberry Fields Salad - 600 calories - with chicken - 810 calories
Balsamic-Glazed Chicken Caesar - 500 calories
Southwestern Wedge Salad -480 calories
House Salad with breadstick - no dressings - 210 calories
Caesar Salad with breadstik - 270 calories

Low Calorie dressings: (2oz servings)  
Avacado Vinaigrette -210 calories 
Caesar Vinaigrette - 120 calories
Low Fat Balsalmic Vinaigrette - 80 calories

Soups at TGI Friday's 
All of the soups at TGIF's are under 300 calories except for the loaded New England Clam Chowder, which is 500 calories per bowl. 

Chicken and Pasta at TGIF's 

Dragonfire Chicken - served with a rice pilad and pinapple salsa, oranges and salsa - 670 calories
Parmesan Crusted Chicken - served with 3 cheese tortellini and tomato and mozzerella salad- 790 calories

TGI Firday's Black Angus Steaks 

10 oz sirloin without sides - 600 calories
10 oz. Sirloin with Langostino Lobster - no sides - 650 calories
Rib-Eye (10 oz)  with Langostino Lobste - no sides - 650 calories
Rib Eye (10 oz) - 600 calories

Low Calorie Side Dishes At TGI Friday's

Choosing the right sides for your entree is the biggest determining factor in whether or not your plate will have an overall high or low calorie count. Here are the low calorie sides from TGIF.

Broccoli - 50 calories
Fresh Vegetable Medley - 110 calories
Ginger-Lime Slaw - 120 calories
Tomato-Mozzarella Salad - 90 calories

So there you have it! I hope you find a combo that works for you- I know I'm pretty hungry for a 700 calorie option from T.G.I. Friday's after writing all this out! Yum...
