I think Ruby Tuesday's new menu is about as diet friendly as a menu can be. It ranks up there with Panera Bread Company's low calorie options as far as ease and width of selection.
The menu includes a LOT of "Ruby Tuesday's Fit and Trim" selections that are under 700 calories if served with zucchini and spaghetti squash as your sides. That, of course, doesn't include the petite lunch dishes that include spaghetti squash or pasta. However, the dishes are marked on the menu with their calorie count, so there are a lot of sides that you can select if you choose a main dish with a lower calorie count. Their low calorie selection is beautiful and includes the following that are marked with a F&T symbol:

So why am I even bothering to write this? Because I want you to know that Ruby Tuesday's low calorie options are very definitely there. What's more, they list the calorie counts next to all of their fit & trim items and sides so that you can calculate your meal to the inth degree.
Also, here are a few option that don't fall into their F&T category, but that ARE close to the 800 calorie mark if you are careful with your choice of sides:

The brunch menu at Ruby Tuesday does not include Fit and Trim options. In fact, the French Toast, Crepes, Omelets, Mini Benedicts and Steak and Eggs plates are all close to or over 1,000 calories. That's a lot. especially for breakfast. BUT, if you are in the mood for a delicious biscuit and a yogurt parfait then you can get away with that for just 264 calories while your friends enjoy their calorie stuffed portions.
